Fifteen minutes from Puerto Escondido, along a stretch of Oaxacan coastline where the land meets the sea without ceremony, this property was conceived to dissolve rather than divide indoors and outdoors, structure and landscape, arrival and stillness. Its architecture reads as a series of thresholds: covered terraces that open onto the horizon, rooms that breathe with the coastal air, a plan that asks to be moved through slowly. The result is less a house than a mood serene, unhurried, deeply attuned to its setting.
The property is fully staffed, with a private chef, butler, concierge, and daily housekeeping attending to every detail of the stay, on-site and remotely, so that presence is felt without ever being intrusive.
Across the main house, six bedrooms are arranged for both togetherness and retreat. A master suite faces the ocean from a king bed; a second master, equally oriented to the water, offers two queen beds for those traveling together. Four further suites turn inward toward the garden two appointed with pairs of queen beds, two with kings each conceived as its own quiet chapter within the larger composition. A short distance away, an independent casita stands apart yet connected: two bedrooms with paired queen beds, a full kitchen, a living-dining space, and a 65-inch screen for evenings that stretch past sunset.
Every room carries the same considered hand bathrooms built for rain showers and unhurried soaks, ceiling fans paired with air conditioning, blackout curtains, a writing desk, a television, a safe. Four of the bedrooms, along with the casita, open onto private gardens of their own. The main house is served by two kitchens: one a showcase space for those who wish to cook as performance, the other a discreet service kitchen that keeps the machinery of hospitality out of view. Three parking spaces sit within the privacy of a gated, guarded community access considered, like everything else here, from the outset.
Beyond the walls, the practicalities of a remote coastline remain gently present: internet that may ebb with the rhythms of a smaller town, electricity drawn from the local grid, occasionally and briefly interrupted. Here, these are not inconveniences so much as reminders that this is a place shaped by its geography, not insulated from it.
