"Casa María Matilda was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful, peaceful and thoughtfully designed, with a wonderful sense of connection to the landscape and surroundings. Everything feels considered without being overdone, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. We particularly loved the privacy, the beautiful outdoor spaces and the feeling of being immersed in nature. It was the perfect place to slow down, unwind and enjoy this extraordinary part of Oaxaca. The attention to detail throughout the property made the stay feel very special. The hosts were warm, generous and attentive, and we felt genuinely welcomed and very well looked after. We left wishing we could have stayed longer. A truly memorable stay and somewhere we would return to without hesitation. Highly recommended."

"What a wonderful stay we had. They accommodated 10 of us with no problem. The property is beautiful for entertaining large groups. Ricardo (Concierge) took great care of us prior to and during the trip. Nico was an amazing bartender! And the chefs made 3 delicious meals per day and accommodated to any food allergies/ dietary restrictions. Can’t say enough about how great our experience was!"

The architecture and attention to detail bring a beautiful cohesiveness to the stay (from the umbrellas, the pillows, the salt shakers). It’s beautiful to look at and live in. But the most special part about this property is the staff and pets included in the stay. Our host Patricia was super attentive and made sure my vision came to life when planning my birthday. The meals were perfectly paced and delicious. I not only will be recommending others to stay, I will also try to return."
