Cliffside Villa in Careyes

Set on a cliff in the exclusive Costa Careyes community, this villa sits between Puerto Vallarta to the north and Manzanillo to the south, close enough to reach easily and private enough to feel entirely removed. Designed by architect Diego Villaseñor, it is Mediterranean in spirit, with soft lines, graceful arches, white walls, and soaring ceilings that open onto wide views of the Pacific.

The villa has seven bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. Four have king beds and three have two full beds, and some add an al fresco shower or a private balcony facing the ocean. A palm-lined courtyard leads into light-filled living and dining rooms with warm tones and plenty of seating, a fully equipped kitchen with a wine cooler and Nespresso machine, an indoor wet bar, and a media room with cable TV, surround sound, and Wi-Fi.

Outside, there's an infinity pool with plenty of loungers, a private tennis court, a yoga studio, a wood-burning pizza oven, and a gas barbecue. Two rooftop terraces offer 360-degree views of the coastline. A full staff, including a cook, housekeeping, and a butler, looks after the details throughout the stay.
