The trails start a few steps from the gate. Some run straight down to the sand at Playa Pelada, others follow the river and slip into the mangroves, and in the early morning, before the heat settles over the peninsula, they belong mostly to joggers and howler monkeys. The house sits back from all of this in a quiet gated residential enclave about a kilometer from the beach, close enough to walk, far enough that the loudest thing at night is the jungle.

Inside, the living area is open and high-ceilinged, with air conditioning throughout, a detail that matters more in Nosara than almost anywhere else. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens directly onto a private terrace, so cooking, eating and sitting outside become one continuous space. Two bedrooms each have their own full bathroom. It's a layout built for a family or two couples who want room to spread out without losing each other.

The property holds two houses, and the garden between them is shared. That includes the pool, ringed by tropical planting with loungers and umbrellas, and a covered BBQ rancho that tends to become the center of long afternoons. An outdoor shower handles the sand on the way back from the beach. Guests who prefer complete exclusivity can book both houses together, which turns the whole compound into a private retreat. There's fast 500 Mbps WiFi for anyone working remotely, a washer and dryer, and secure parking on site.

Playa Pelada is about three minutes away by car and Guiones about four, with Nosara's restaurants, coffee shops and small stores all within the same easy radius. Two ATVs can be rented on site, subject to availability, and they're the local way to get around. The host knows the trail network well and is happy to walk guests through the best routes on arrival.
