Above the surf town below, the mountains open up into something quieter and more elemental. Three separate pavilions sit perched above Santa Teresa, connected by two infinity pools and oriented toward a 180-degree sweep of jungle ridgeline and Pacific horizon — a view that takes in both mountain and ocean at once, framing the kind of sky where condors drift past at eye level.

The architecture follows the principles of sacred geometry, a design philosophy that gives the property its distinctive sense of proportion and calm. Each of the four bedrooms occupies its own structure, creating the privacy of a separate villa while sharing a central living pavilion for moments of gathering. Sliding glass doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out; the sounds of howler monkeys moving through the canopy above become a constant, unhurried backdrop. The outdoor en-suite bathrooms — open to the sky, framed by tropical growth — are an experience unto themselves, a daily ritual that reconnects you to the environment around you.

The central building holds a fully equipped kitchen for serious cooking, a dining table for long communal meals, and comfortable decks lined with sunbeds where afternoons can dissolve into aperitivo and mountain air. Two infinity pools link the structures, each one catching the light differently as the day turns.

As a mountain property above the coast, the villa sits within its natural habitat fully and honestly. Wildlife moves through — white-faced monkeys, iguanas, raccoons, the occasional gecko — and during the rainy season, tropical insects are part of the texture of life here. Power cuts occur periodically across Santa Teresa; the high ambient humidity means clothes take longer to dry and the air carries weight. None of this diminishes the place — it is simply the character of this particular corner of Costa Rica, and part of what makes it feel genuinely remote.

A 4x4 is required to access the property. The beach is five minutes away. The town, with its cafes and shops, is close enough for errands and far enough to feel worlds away. Parties are not permitted.
