The space

This striking desert residence consists of five separate structures:

•  Sleeping spaces: One king bedroom, two queen bedrooms, and a six-bed bunk room for kids or groups (sleeps 12 total)

•  Each sleeping volume includes a shaded breezeway and private courtyard planted with local flora

• The fifth structure: A shared open-air pavilion housing the kitchen, dining area, and lounge

The design is inspired by traditional Spanish courtyards and haciendas, using breezeways and passive cooling to create comfort in the desert heat. At the heart of the property lies a minimalist pool set against granite outcroppings and native desert scrub. A rooftop terrace offers unmatched sunset views with silhouettes of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Guests have full and private access to all five structures, including the bedrooms, communal kitchen/living space, rooftop terrace, private courtyards, and the pool. The property is entirely off-grid, designed with sustainability and comfort in mind.
