Jungle Home in Santa Teresa

Above the surf town below, the mountains open up into something quieter and more elemental. The architecture follows the principles of sacred geometry, a design philosophy that gives the property its distinctive sense of proportion and calm. Each of the four bedrooms occupies its own structure, creating the privacy of a separate villa while sharing a central living pavilion for moments of gathering. Sliding glass doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out; the sounds of howler monkeys moving through the canopy above become a constant, unhurried backdrop. The outdoor en-suite bathrooms — open to the sky, framed by tropical growth — are an experience unto themselves, a daily ritual that reconnects you to the environment around you.

The central building holds a fully equipped kitchen for serious cooking, a dining table for long communal meals, and comfortable decks lined with sunbeds where afternoons can dissolve into aperitivo and mountain air. As a mountain property above the coast, the villa sits fully and honestly within its natural habitat.
