Tucked into the Serra da Bocaina about 10 km from Paraty, this house sits inside a gated eco village built into the forest, in a stretch of the Atlantic Forest counted among the most biodiverse places on the planet. Waterfalls with natural pools, agroforestry, a dry sauna, a gym set into the landscape, and a network of trails run through the property, alongside therapeutic and ecological experiences available to book.

Inside, an open living room and fully equipped kitchen form the heart of the house, easy and unhurried, the kind of space that pulls people together at the end of the day. Two bedrooms follow: one with a queen bed, air conditioning, and a mosquito net, the other with a standard double and a mosquito net of its own. A natural cooling system built into the roof circulates water to keep the interior temperature comfortable without relying on air conditioning throughout. The house sleeps up to four, with a fifth guest possible on an extra bed for an additional fee.

The property sits along the Paraty-Cunha road, roughly 15 to 25 minutes from the historic center, and guests move freely between the house and the eco village's shared spaces, including the gym, waterfalls, trails, agroforestry, forest temple, and sauna (booked separately). Because the house sits inside the Atlantic Forest, encounters with wildlife, including venomous species, are simply part of the setting: closed shoes, a flashlight after dark, and leashed dogs are the practical response. Insects are a fact of rural life here as well.

Designed by Atelier Marko Brajovic with sustainability built into the architecture, the house runs on solar power with an automatic generator as backup, spring-fed water, gas-heated showers, and Starlink for connectivity. Outlets run at 220V, with 110V points clearly marked. The sauna runs R$280 with advance booking, small pets are welcome for R$250, and check-ins after 8pm carry a R$210 fee, rising to R$350 after midnight. The house is for accommodation only, photo or film work requires a separate contract, and any damage to the property is charged accordingly.
