Casa Sirena

The house steps down a slope toward the Sea of Cortez, and from nearly every room the water is the first thing you see. It sits inside Villas del Mar, the gated community beside One&Only Palmilla, a short walk from the sand. Arrival comes with drinks already poured and a house manager who looks after things for the length of the stay.

The architecture leans hacienda, spread over several levels joined by terraces and paths. The main living area gathers around an indoor fireplace, with an open kitchen equipped for real cooking and a dining table that seats ten. Outside, the upper terrace holds a pool and hot tub facing the water. A path leads down to a second pool at beach level, closer to the shore. There's a fire pit and a grill for the evenings, a proper workspace for anyone who can't fully switch off, and laundry.

The five bedrooms are scattered across the levels, each with its own bathroom. For a group of ten, that spacing matters. People can drift apart during the day and find each other again at dinner.

Past the gate, guests share the community's private beaches, golf, pickleball courts, and fitness center, and a golf cart comes with the house for getting around. Security is staffed around the clock. San José del Cabo is fifteen minutes away, and round-trip transfers to the airport, about twenty minutes out, are included.

Some terraces and pool edges are left open without railings. It keeps the view clean, and it means young children need an adult close by. The levels and paths also make the house unsuitable for wheelchairs. Stays start at five nights.
